Sports injuries are more than the occasional strained muscle. As high school sports become more and more competitive, Athletic Director and Coach Denny Lennon has made it his mission to learn as much as he can. From base-line concussion tests to the upcoming Sports Injury Clinic, Archer is on a path to improved athletic safety.

Below is the email that was sent out to the Archer community with the information about the event.

Hello players and parents!

This email is to remind you that Friday May 9, instead of having practice, we are expecting all athletes to attend the Sports Injury Prevention Clinic at Santa Monica College. We will have a bus to take all the girls to SMC leaving Archer at 4:30. The clinic will be from 5:00-8:00 pm and the girls would need to get picked up from there, there will be no bus back to Archer.

Parents are welcome to come to the clinic. There is a “parents’ corner” where you will be able to ask questions and get educated on injury prevention.

Please email me back with any questions regarding the event.
