Hermanas Unidas Hosts ‘Salsa de Mi Casa’ Competition

On Monday, Dec. 16, Archer celebrated its first ever annual “Salsa De Mi Casa” Competition.

Participating students and faculty brought homemade salsa to be tasted and voted on, with the “Judge Favorite Winners” being Antonia Haley ’14 for best Spicy Salsa and Mr. Robertson’s Mild Salsa taking first in his category. Daniela Jimenez ’14 took first place as a Fan Favorite for her spicy salsa, while Lauren Evans-Katz ’20 and Abigail Lischak ’20 received first for their Mild Salsa.

The event was sponsored and administered by members of Hermanas Unidas.  Below are a few pictures from the event taken by Spanish teacher Talia Geffen—enjoy!
